Happy Wednesday Parents and Students!
December will have some special holiday hours and events. There’s much to do, so make sure to mark your calendars. Here’s the end of our year breakdown:
Monday December 5th – Thursday December 8th: Picture Week at Champion. Students will have their photo taken during class times. If you would like to order photos, please inquire in the office for an order form.
Thursday December 8th: All Black Belts, Demo Team, and Assistant/ Jr. Instructors report to the Dojang at 6:30pm for group photos. Please bring all required uniforms for each position.
Saturday December 10th: Demo Team will be performing in the Pinellas Park Christmas Parade. Final details for Demo Team will follow the parade meeting December 7th. Spectators can inquire here about start times and additional parade information: http://www.celebratepinellaspark.com/parades/pinellas-park-holiday-parade/spectator-information/ Testing forms are due this day for those belt testing on the 16th. Please download your testing forms at www.championtaekwondo.net
Friday December 16th: Color Belt Testing at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm children, 6:30 pm Teens/Adults. Please remember to wear your white uniform.
Saturday December 17th: Jr. Instructor Training 9:00 am
Monday December 19th – Thursday December 22nd: SPECIAL HOLIDAY HOURS. CTKD will only be open for classes at 4:30 and 5:30 for children, and 6:30 for teens/adults. Kid Tiger Class will be combined into these hours as will all classes including Black Belt Classes. There will be no sparring during this week.
Friday December 23rd – Monday December 26th: CLOSED
Tuesday December 27th – Thursday December 29th: SPECIAL HOLIDAY HOURS. CTKD will only be open for classes at 4:30 and 5:30 for children, and 6:30 for teens/adults. Kid Tiger Class will be combined into these hours as will all classes including Black Belt Classes. There will be no sparring during this week.
Friday December 30th – Saturday December 31st: CLOSED
Attention All Adult Black Belts – There will be NO 7:15 pm classes for the entire month of December including this evening November 30th. Please join our 6:30 pm classes.
SPECIAL NOTE: CTKD will have Holiday Camp for young students off school for the winter break on December 19th – 22nd AND December 27th – 29th. Parents, please inquire in the office or with our afterschool staff when picking up your child from aftercare for details and sign up.
Whew, glad to get through all that, and I sure hope I didn’t miss anything! And as always if I did, I’ll be emailing with an oops addition haha!
